Collectible fridge magnet of a Sumatran Tiger

The Sumatran Tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) as its name suggests is found only on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. Like all tigers the Sumatran is critically endangered because of poaching and habitat destruction. There are as few as 350 left in the wild today. Panthera tigris sumatrae Is the smallest of the tiger subspecies with a height 30" at shoulder, weight 200-450 pounds and a body length of 84-106 inches. The fur on the upper parts of its body ranges from orange to reddish- brown, making it darker in color than other tigers. Their diet in the wild consists of wild pigs, deer, crocodiles, birds and fish.
