The Green & Black Poison Dart Frog (Dendrobates auratus) can be found in Central and South America, from Nicaragua and Costa Rica to southeastern Brazil and Bolivia. They have also been introduced in areas of Hawaii. The frogs are found on the floor of the rainforests. They prefer locations near small streams or pools. The adults are approximately 4 cm long.
